"Hey, we should get pizza."
"Okay. What's the best place around here?"
"I don't know. I just want pizza."
I Just Want Pizza is the app that orders from a random pizza place. All you have to do is pick what kind you want — cheese or pepperoni, large or small — and the app takes care of everything else. Because sometimes you just want pizza.
Unfortunately, this idea is complete science fiction: Although nearly every pizza place offers large and small pepperoni and cheese pizzas, the online ordering systems they use are so disparate that it would be impossible to reconcile them all into an automated process. Still, it was really fun to design and animate this imaginary software without having to worry about the real-world constraints that make creating an app so difficult.
